Client: Conlon Construction
Maybern has recently aided Conlon Construction and the Department of Education in securing a full planning permission for a replacement and upgraded Primary School in Leyland. This application included for the demolition of buildings onsite and the subsequent erection of a new 2 storey primary school, with enhanced car parking, landscaping, associated works and the installation of temporary classrooms. Increased community use of some facilities was also negotiated via a community use agreement.
Following the grant of planning permission Maybern have been involved in the Discharge and Variation of Conditions to enable the commencement of development on site.
The project has been a welcomed change, with the team working closely with the client to ensure the provision of educational needs within South Ribble. This has exemplified Maybern’s adaptability throughout different development sectors within planning and the built environment.
